ESSGuy
Been looking to move up from my 7600 30-06 I've had since age 15, has a 4x bushnell, served me very well. Been looking at bolt 7mm-08 and was thinking about a rifle/ scope combo, Savage or Ruger. Both nice, then I saw my baby. Bought Browning X bolt hunter with Leupold vx1 3x9-40. It's way nicer than I need, but will probably be my last rifle. Kinda like this, I would've been happy with the girl next door, but then I had to see the prom queen. Nothing wrong with nice guns I guess.
leech~~
Keep the old 7600 around just in case! I love mine and have taken a lot of deer over the years. Buddy had the 7400 auto and had lot's of jams. Spent one season shooting single shot. His Bother had the Rem 700 Mountain rifle bolt and had jam's in the mag and a misfire on opening morning once from a jam. Never a problem with the old trusty 7600 for me. It's is always nice to get some new hardware though so hope you love it! monstermoose78 and ESSGuy
