Anyone use a whirly pop?

Recommended Posts

I got a whirly pop about a year ago as a gift and absolutely love it. I am amazed at how well it makes a bowl of popcorn. I like the movie theater flavor and that's about all we eat at my house. Its way better than the microwave bags.

I also have to put a plug in for the customer service. I recently had a plastic gear crack on me while using and I emailed the company and they had a replacement sent free of charge to my door in 3 days. Its good to see a company stand behind their product and provide prompt replies when contacted via email when needed with no questions asked.

I have experimented with a few different recipes has anyone else come up with any ideas of their own?

I cant take credit for this one, but I sometimes like to add a few jalapenos from a jar to the bottom of the pot. I don't pour any of the juice in but it only takes a few peppers (4 to 5) to get the flavor on all of the kernals. The peppers themselves just get burnt up and turn black but the flavor they add is great.

I am not a fan of kettle corn but would love to try or make some sort of caramel corn anyone have any recipes? I see they have heavier duty lid with metal gears that would probably work a lot better than the plastic ones for these types of popcorn.

Lets hear your ideas.
