Nice way to end the 2015 Walleye season. The weather was perfect to be out on the lake. Let this beauty go to catch another day.

Always nice to end a year on a good note. I also ended on a good note. It's been a tougher than normal year for us in our fishhouse. Past 3 years, we hit the 100 walleye mark within the first 12 days, which is generally in Novemeber. This year it took until early January, then really died off. Saturday I decided to jump out to 38' to look things over and hit the walleye mother lode. In 75 minutes, I landed 9 and keep my 6. Saw dozens of "eyes" on camera in that time. Sunday it took a few more minutes, but landed 11 and kept my limit. Great way to end the season. Taz

Yeah, I have been in 33' to 36' feet for a while now and that is where I was finding them.  Lot's of small Perch and Pike in my shallower spots that did last year.

Nice job, wish I could have been out there on the last weekend but I accidently planned a trip to Chicago that weekend. oops I guess when I buy airline tickets in the summer I have to think a little bit more. Now it is tome for some late ice pannies!
