LunzPropertyManagement
How are everyone's food plots coming along? Are the deer hitting them hot and heavy?
woody1975
Our plot is doing fantastic. A lot of corn in So. Minn, so they are not hitting it yet, which is good....it has a chance to grow. It is a late season Brassicas, so it is setting up to be a honey hole!Good luck to everyone this weekend!
certified jumbo
Lots of rain for us generally leads to good foodplots. Sea's of clover for us!
Scott K
Looking good! I planted one 3/4 acre food plot with a brassica mix, and 2 others 1/2 acre plots with a winter rye, oats, winter wheat mix, and clover. The brassica plot got hammered about the middle of August, and they have pretty much wiped out the plot. I since have broadcasted wheat into the remaining of the plot, but it didnt take to well, so it is looking pretty bare right now. The cereal mix is getting regular pressure, and the plants are staying ahead of the pressure so far. I am getting regular pictures in all of the plots yet, but all are does.
