reinhard1
Or it could be a main meal, but I use it as a side dish mainly. i guess you could add what you want to it but this is what I have been doing. I bought some chuck steaks that were on sale and marinaded them for a good 24 hrs in my Korean kalbi marinade. I think the last time I had chuck steaks was on a camping trip where I marinaded them and cry packed them and put them in the freezer until camping time. Grilled them until medium. Tender but it aint a sirloin or anything like that, but I do like the flavor of chuck [the chuck eye is my favorite]. Here is the regular recipe but I used two heads of cauliflower and more amounts of the other ingredients. Really don't measure stuff anymore, just some of this and some of that ect. 1 large head of cauliflower 8 strips of bacon [or more, depending if you like bacon like me] cut into small pieces two bunches of green onions chopped 1/2 cup mayo 1/2 cup sour cream 2 cups of shredded colby or cheddar cheese, divided 8 oz. of cut up mushrooms Put the cauliflower in a large pot and let simmer for 8 to 10 minutes [or until almost tender]. Drain and let cool. Fry up the shrooms and green onions until tender and put into a large bowl. Then fry the bacon until nice and crispy and brown, drain and put half into the bowl. Put the cauliflower in the bowl. Then add the cauliflower, sour cream, mayo, half of the cheese and salt and pepper to taste.. Put it all in a baking dish. Now put the rest of the bacon and cheese on top of the dish. Set the oven at 350 and it should take about 20 to 30 minutes or until the cheese melts and get's a little brown. Here are some pics from yesterday:
