Dual livewell pumps wiring?

I have 2 pumps to 2 separate manual switches, each pump has a Brown/Black wire. I see two black wires and an orange one from the boat to connect the pumps to. Is their one common power wire and 2 grounds just cant remember.

The blacks on the pump are for ground, the brown being the power wire.  However, you should have more than one power wire; it's pretty non-typical in a boat to switch the grounds to control pump on and off vs the power.  I'd look for another wire in your boat, or pull the switch panel and see if you can figure out which wire feeds the pump.. I'd bet there's another orange wire in there somewhere.

Is it possible that the black/brown wiring controls a relay switch with the other wiring connecting the relay to the pump(s)?
