Humminbird Seminar by technological angler

MikeG3Boat

Question

Saw an advertisement for Humminbird seminar in Eagan Minnesota. There is an admission charge of $100. Has anyone attended one of these seminars? Seems kind of expensive.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I checked out their web page. I was not familiar with it before. Honestly, $100 for a full day of training is not that expensive. And if it helps you to become a better angler and catch more fish and have more fun. Its worth it.

That said, Scotty Peterson of Humminbird does seminars all over the place. I have watched his seminar and learned plenty. I would find out where he is next and give that a shot.

I find it hard to believe that there is a full day of "good stuff" to talk about. I looked at the "doctor sonar" seminar on the web which is also $100 and it seemed to have a fair amount of filler in the program.

To me, an hour or so to explain how to work the menus and various options, maybe a few youtube videos, and then time on the water on a lake that you know fairly well to get experience to see what things you already know fairly well look like on the unit.

On the other hand, it depends on your personal learning style also.
