Legendary Waters Casino

Has anyone ever camped there before? The official name of the campground is buffalo bay campground, on chequamegon bay. I couldn't find much info on it, and am waiting to hear back from the casino via e-mail. Just curious if anyone has camped there before, and has any reviews. The very little info I have found sounds positive so far.

I looked it up using RV park reviews. If you check that HSOforum you will find great info. Unfortunately there is very little on that campground. I'm thinking the reason is because its fairly new, its fairly remote and fairly small. That being said, the most recent review on their site was very good. If I was really interested in staying there I would contact the Bayfield area tourism people. They have their own HSOforum.

We went to Bayfield this winter and had a great trip. THe info we received was great and fairly objective.

I think your right about how new it is. The last time I was in the area was about 5 years ago, and I remember the casino being a lot smaller than it looks on it's current HSOforum. Thanks for the links.

Ha, how is it "Legendary" if it is a small, out of the way, new place?

It's not the campground that's legendary, it's the waters!

Never stayed at the campground, so I'm no help there. But we stay at the hotel a couple times a year. Great hotel and a great area to visit. If you go up that way, the boat rides around the Apostle islands out of Bayfield on a nice day is awsome.
