Boar
I took a stroll thru my river bottom to collect cams. I love seeing what I missed during rifle and and what survived. This was way to cool to see. I know bear are not tru hibernist, cant think of the proper terminology. they do tend to get up during mild temps of winter and move a bit, the Boars anyway, if if the winter is a realy mild one altogether some bear dont even den. So yeah this is way cool to see.

DonBo
Got permission to turkey hunt a piece of property that had a large unpicked corn field in it. The landowner told us to look out for the bear. Bear? This was like early March. Bears are all sleeping. He said "No, one's been living in my corn field all winter". We saw it, it was BIG. He had about a 10 acre section in the middle of that corn field all mowed down. All winter he ate corn and got fat. No sleep for that big boy. O.T.C.
10 4 Donbo talked to a neighbor and he asked if I was seeing a Bear in or near his corn recently since it's an easy view from our picture window said no, but curiosity got the best of me and there's no doubt since rifle ended that a bear at some point was in there maybe still is, I walked the edge of where the corn is standing and that was good enough, I got out of there.
