I would say where the rock wall meets the grass line at the river bend. Why, could be a good ambush point and I think current would be next/on that spot

Along the rock edge because there is cold clear spring water entering the stream

He moved down stream because I was already there a couple hours earlier and put a hook in his face and released him.

I caught him behind you to your left under that shrub brush that is sticking out into the water, he was hiding under it waiting to ambush my crawler that I drifted through.

Wasn't much in the bend you are fishing except smaller trout and a few chubs.
