maddowg1192000
I am thinking about buying a fish house and am looking at the grey wolf. My question is for anyone who has owned or used one. Has there been any problems, pro/con and would you buy one again
elkoholic
Well my dad and I went and looked at them yesterday. They had grey wolves and a ic black ice sitting next to each other so we could compare. Finish wise, the grey wolf was a better finished out house. As far as options the grey had way more options, fridge, stove with igniter, set up for solar, insulated floor, porta potti,rv Windows,2 battery boxes The grey didn't come with fenders I couldn't understand that but what ever. So dad pulled the trigger on the grey wolf and I think he made the right choice. He got a pretty good price on it also!Haven't had it on the ice yet so that will b the true test
JSK76
I saw a YouTube vide and the sales guy said the floor was insulated, I thought he may have misspoke. I've never seen it in the specs but that's cool to know for sure now. I've been kicking around getting a new wheel house and Grew Wolf was one I was interested in too. I just wish they had carpet and not the rubber floor.
hawkeye43
you can get carpet pieces at the big box stores, but you will see that rubber is better when it gets wet and dries off quicker.
maddowg1192000
Did you get it in deerwood? Also let me know how it is on ice. Thanks for the info
PurpleFloyd
I have heard from owners that the insulation in the sidewalls is substandard and that they don't foam it so they had issues with frost on the interior walls and around the Windows. Not sure if they changed that.
Fish2500
While were on wheel houses. I have a Ultra Shack. Any ideas on what to use for replacement pins? The ones that came with it look home made. I would like to have some spares.
