Well are we going to have a late spring and snow for the start of Turkey time

I'm trying to use Ice fishing to keep my mind off things but not having luck. I was up at the National Turkey state banquet this weekend and saw some new shotguns and some awesome custom calls.

Was nice to get out and talk about turkey hunting a bit.

Sure can't wait to see this out in front of me.

Shotgun's are cleaned and I'm just getting some new arrows ready NE bow season.

I have been seeing some birds west of Stillwater on my home from work.

Makes me think ahead to the up coming season!

Turkeys seem to always be on my mind.

Funny, this past weekend on our way to my sons hockey game in Sauk Centre, my daughter spots a large group of turkeys picking away in a chopped corn field. She says, "dad, let turn around and go get the shot gun", I said we have to wait until April. She returns, " that sucks!! I want to go turkey hunting again, thats to long to wait". Might have been one of my proudest moments with her! (In the outdoors aspect).

I saw a flock on our way up the Turkey banquet in Alexandra on Saturday morning. Nice to see them out , a lot of deer out also during the morning.
