Vexilar FL-12 question

Does the FL-12 with the LCD display make that buzzing noise that the FL-8s do? Does it make any noise?

Thanks

The 12 & 8 are the same thing more or less but the 12 has a flat face on it.

All Vexilar and even Marcums make the noise. the noise will vary as the brushes wear. the noise comes from a combination of the brushes and the motor. the only flashers out there that don't make noise is the LX6, LX7, LX9, RT-9 and the FLX28. the type of display does not effect this. one thing with any of the flat screen Vexilars is that they can be hard to see in the direct sun if you like to hole hop. for that I would look at a FL-8, FL-18, or FLX28 they can be seen in direct sunlight.

Pretty much nailed it right there, the only other thing I can think of would be that the RT9 may be able to play music from the Tablet... So if you're going to listen to Justin Bieber, your RT9 would make noise... hideous noise! I guess we'll have to wait and see to find out on that though, if it ever comes out...
