bobbymalone
I have two buddy heaters, most of my friends have one, and I've really never seen much of an issue with them. Never cleaned, they just keep working.
Bureaucrat
I think someone a while back asked what the alternative was to a buddy heater. I use one of these guys. Never had trouble with getting gased out, burning eyes, noise, or burning my canvas. It's a real space saver in the sled. The canvas on my flip over is loose like sleeve of wizard, and still no burns.
dirt292lv
Not to hijack this thread, but the problem with my Big Buddy is the pilot light will spark but rarely lights. I usually have to use a light to start a flame...anyone else have this problem? I have the same problem now and again often at the begining of the season
