Tire-Black color wore off?

Recommended Posts

I bought a different truck last week that has great tread on all 4 tires. On one of the tires the previous owner must have made a habit of scraping the curb whenever he parked, darn near looks like a whitewall!!!! Is there a tire product that I can use to color in the ring of white? It's just above the raised white letters, thanks.

CHICAGO, Ill. — PlastiKote’s newly reformulated wheel paint can make a car’s tires and hub caps look the way they did when first driven off the lot, says Valspar, the manufacturer. In addition, these great aerosol paints can also give wheels a custom look and feel.

“Wheels are a tough thing to keep looking like new, so PlastiKote’s wheel paint is specially formulated to provide a tough, long-lasting finish that resists scratches and will not tarnish, weather or rust,” said Katie Whiting, product manager, aerosols for Valspar. “PlastiKote’s wheel paint also can customize the look of your wheels, adding a new element of style in a quick and inexpensive way.”

Available in four colors, steel (618), semi-gloss black (620), silver argent (621) and charcoal gray metallic (626), PlastiKote’s new wheel paint features a highly durable resin system for “The Perfect Finish.” In addition to tires and hub caps, it is also an ideal paint for auto trim and grilles as well as bikes and motorcycles, Valspar says.
