I remember about 8 years ago I was working in Clearwater at a golf course and a girl I worked with swore she saw a moose one night I thought she was crazy guess anything is possible

Yeah, every once in a while one wanders way south.

I remember many years ago the police had to shoot down a young bull in Elk River for fear of it charging someone or heading out onto 101 and getting hit.

The VW Jetta I saw in AK looked just like their car after hitting a spike bull. No match for taking out that size animal at the knees!

I am going with the moose was running away from the wolves.

I remember the moose in Elk River as well. I am just glad the people in the car are okay.

Saw a video somewhere a few weeks ago of a moose up near St. Cloud. Same one I'd guess.

After the accident, the Maple Lake Fire Department hauled the moose away in a 10-foot trailer. The DNR issued a permit, so the meat could be saved.

Well I sure hope they get to claim the meat for their trouble!

But, more then likely there will be a big BBQ at the Fire House this weekend!

Yeah, pretty wild. I had just drove by that location a few hours before on my way home from the woods. I could've used a new truck and some moose steaks. Glad that couple is okay!
