oil consumption on a hyundai tiburon

My son has bought a 03 hyundia Tiburon. He got it from a used car dealer off of hwy 65 in east bethel. He got last Saturday and so far he has gone through 1 quart of oil in less then 100 miles.

I don't see and blue smoke when it is revved up or it has no leaks. It does not look like there is any oil in the antifreeze.

Is there any additive that we could add that maybe help the valve guides valves or rings?

What?? A quart of oil in less than 100 miles??? Take it back to the dealer. Additives aren't going to help this!!

That is definitely some excessive consumption. Nothing will help that.
