FF has the Masterbilt 30" electric smoker for sale for $166. I paid $199 at FF (on sale) 5 weeks ago. I like it. It heats hotter than my old uninsulated propane smoker so I'm still getting used to it. Check it out if you're looking for a new one!

I got mine about 5 years ago as my "beginner" smoker. Frankly unless I start catering events (which isn't happening) I couldn't imagine needing anything else. Having an electric smoker with a thermostat is the only way to go for me and for most people cooking for their family and friends. Have fun with it, smoking foods is a great hobby.

C has the cold smoker that attaches to the side of the smoker for it on sale and man that is a great addition to the smoker for $59.99.

I just picked up one both smoker and cold smoker a few days ago and smoked up some bacon yesterday. Love it easy to control the temp and smoke. The masterbuit smoker I got has a remote control and man that is nice to have to check the temp of the smoker and the meat temp.

Bacon is resting now but it sure looks great.
