You can still take it out in the open water! Cameras are pretty cool. Drop it down on a bright sunny day unless the water just plain has zero visibility. You might be surprised at what you can learn about a lake you THOUGHT you knew just with a little extra underwater visuals.

+1 It takes all if the guess work out. You no longer "think" you found the weed line or a pocket. Now you know you did.

Plus it's way easier to cut a hole with the auger and drop the camera then to cut a block and set the house, then realize you missed it by 10'
