New Batteries

Time to replace the trolling motor batteries. I'm currently running two Interstate SRM29's that are getting tired. Just curious if anyone has tried the SLI31MDC Duracell Ultra Battery BCI Group 31M & if they were as dependable/comparable? They go for $109.99 at Batteries +, which would be around 30 bucks apiece cheaper than the Interstates.

I have a Duracell pro in my truck and I does really well. I've never had an issue with there branded batteries. I have there 12v for the flashers also. Jump on it!

You know what I've learned about batteries by personal experience and by reading this and other forums is that most mainstream battery companies make quality and long lasting products. If you are like most of us and charging batteries once/twice a week or less through a 5 to 6 month season any of these batteries are going to get the job done and done well. I go for price.

I have found the same thing that if properly maintained through the year the name doesn't seem to matter. I just got a 27dc at menards for $75.

Decided to stick with the tride & true Interstates. Local business will sell them to me for $118 each, which appears to be a good price compared to other places I've checked.
