thx. sitting at the campfire friday I thought the sky was cloudy to the east.gabbing away and i glanced thru the trees and saw a big reddish blob. CRAAAP ! Limped down to the shoreline and the moon was up a bit. I want to get a pic someday up there of the moon just peeking. Friday was awesome. Didn't do much hiking this year cuz grandkids were along for the first time. 6 and 4 months old. Every year since 1991 we pop up there somewhere for 2 or 3 days. Caribou falls was really smokin!

Eyeguy those are outstanding pics, but I have a tip for you for next time. Get your self a Neutral Density Filter, A big one, like a 10 stop. then set your water images up using a tripod on a some long exposure times. Makes the water look real mystical. I will post a couple in a different thread if you want to know more, I will fill you in.

thx, I have the filter but it was sprinkling so did it quick on a tripod with no filter. here's a couple more.
