should of been there yesterday or yesteryear or yesterdecade I'll bring you a few 15-16 inchers, have caught a couple 17's never kept anything over 11 how much per fish to tell you the lake or two for 2 thousand NOT crazy

jigginjim There are still crappies left in the lake. People don't pursue them really anymore, except the locals and the die hards. It is a trophy fishery and the big slabs rarely come easy. I think the last week of may/first week of June will be the time to pursue them. We caught 8 of them on sat night. However, all were 11" and we didn't catch any big slabs. If you are in pursuit of a big crappie, Red has them, although there are lakes that give you a better opportunity to catch them....ie Rainy lake
