Charter Out of Duluth

I am considering doing a charter boat fishing trip in June out of Duluth or a little ways north. Any suggestions on which charter operation to use would be appreciated.

Charter fishing isn't really my thing, but +1 for the Happy Hooker.

Happy Hooker is the only boat I can recommend from Duluth/Superior now that the whitewater is retired. If your going in June don't go any further up the shore.

I tried a new guy last year...Twin Ports Sport Fishing...it was great. He is all about service and customer attention. Plus we caught a lot of fish. Just do a google search. I think his prices were a bit lower than most boats as well.

Gotta say, Superior Sportfishing out of Superior. Captain Tom Linderholm operates the Reel Nauti. He's won the Captain's Platter 2 of the last 3 years. Guy can find fish and he's a blast to fish with.

All good suggestions, but like Scott said Tom has proven his skills time and time again. Clean boat, great gear and will put you on fish.

The summer of 2013 was his last season. Its a long story but I am currently in the process of his buying the boat. I had not plans of buying before last Friday.

With this new reg are charter boats then no longer allowed to clean fish?

I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that there are rules about authorized guides/resorts. They can clean the fish down to filets for transport as long as the bags are marked for contents.
