Hawk INvasion

I was in Around Lisbon, ND last Friday as the Redtail hawk migration went through, It was the coolest thing I have experienced in a long time, I counted over 100 Red Tails, and a few others mixed in.

Sweet ! Lisbon is my hometown. I got in on that migration but in the fall about 25 years ago over by Kindred just SW of the bridge. All out in a field and looked like prairie dogs.lol Just under 200 of them.

They've been in my backyard all winter, watching the bird feeder very closely.

Probably Cooper's or Sharp-shins. They're notorious for murdering song birds.

I watch them all spring through summer circling in a field across from my home. Amazing how they dive at high speed toward the ground and come to a screeching halt to snatch a field mouse.
