Mountain Monsters

This could be the most entertaining show on tv! A group of hillbillies with loaded guns, running around in the woods at night, looking for monsters! The new season starts this friday on destination america. Reruns of last season are being run all this week in the lead up. The pictures and video "evidence" they have of these monsters are great, and by that I mean pathetic! They build traps in every episode to try and catch these monsters too. In the moth man episode, they literally built a giant bug zapper! And they've encountered the monster they're looking for in every episode, but it always juuuuust gets away! Here's a list of monsters they looked for last season: wolf man, devil dog, grass man of ohio, moth man, lizard demon, and wampus beast (the best episode by the way). The new season is going to be awesome!

I was watching wampus last night and laughing. The show does make great comedy. Footage of a mountain lion in a tree, seriously, its a mountain lion, but its a shape shifting creature so we can't let our guards down LOL

Dude seriously down on his knees smelling and tasting pee on a tree OMG

Was the Wompus Beast episode the troll looking thing? If so, yes a great episode for head scratching and chuckling at stupidity. Seems like the great state of Wisconsin gets its fair share of "sightings."

The wampus beast is a giant black cat. While extremely rare, I think there is a black color phase of mountain lions. However, they certainly don't get 600+ pounds, like the wampus beast supposedly weighs. The video footage was literally a cardboard cutout being slid along the horizon laugh There is absolutely no movement in the shoulders or anything as it glides along.

It must move so fast it looks like it just floats...

What was the "Troll" episode or was that on something else? There was also a Windago one too where some psycho ate his family and blamed it on the Windago curse.

Love how these shows are on some "educational" program, like right after theres an Arial America show. You go from hillbilly stupid to history of a state. Talk about strange programming.

Yeah, there's another show called "monsters and mysteries in America". It's on the same network. It's by far the least credible of all these types of shows. So much so, that it isn't even all that entertaining to watch.

Been watching mountain monsters marathon all day today in the lead up to the season premiere. I can watch the same episode over and over again! Can't say that about any other show.
