The new regs should be out soon I would think ? I have been looking every day at the mn Dnr web page . I have been wondering what the quote will be

One would think regs should be out, deadline for applying is only a little more than a month away. I'm wondering same thing sportfish.

Agree, had plenty o bruins smiling on cam in that area last year as well! I've been driving the poor guys/gals nuts at the store waiting for the bear apps to kickoff too! Talked to Dan S. from the DNR about the bears and the huge drop in tags last year given the number of trail cam pics my buddies and I are were seeing. They are concerned not with numbers as much as with the age class of the sows, which has dropped considerably recently. They wanted older sows in greater numbers so dropped the number of tags by a lot. I expect them tags some this year, but probably not by nearly as much as they decreased them last year.

Tried applying at the store about a week ago, was told it was too early to apply yet. Anyone have luck applying yet?
