bucketmouth64
Recently bought a nexus 7 tablet 4g and I was wondering if I need to add a mobile care antivirus or do I use a regular antivirus like for a computer? It's going to be used mostly when we're out and about or on vacation so non-secure wifi hookups will be common. I've been told we didn't need to add one. PierBridge
I'd probably add one as there a few issues starting to pop up and I'd expect the malware/virus game to morph.
upnorth
Whether or not you need AV on a tablet has a lot to do with you. Do you click OK on pop ups? Yes you need AV. Do you install apps from just anywhere? Yes you need AV. If you are careful about what you say yes to and you only install apps from reputable sources like google play, you most likely are OK without AV. This is not as susceptible as windows, so
