Concrete cost for pole barn floor?

hydro

Recommended Posts

The floor in my pole barn is badly cracked and I am thinking about replacing it this summer. I have a contractor who can remove the old floor and re-do the base, so those costs would be covered. The building is not heated in the winter, and the front half is used for my shop. Would a 4" floor be sufficient for storage, boats, pickup, etc, or should I go with 5"?

Also, what would a reasonable cost range be for a 30' X 54' floor in central MN?

The price of Cement is extremely high these days.

Your best bet on labor is to find somebody local to your location. They can generally crush the people that have to travel or are a big name type of place.

I'd lean more towards 5"s if possible in the budget.
