Anyone using Navionics on an iPad?

kensom

Question

I have the Navionics app on my iPhone and find it difficult to use due to small screen size (also not very impressed with accuracy) ....the iPad version is a little spendy at 50 bucks so I was wondering if anybody that is using it that can share your opinion.....ease of use, accuracy, etc. Is it the same as the phone version?

I have the Nav app on my android phone and have since got a Samsung 7" Tab tablet and am thinking of getting the app for that device (around $55.00)and a ram mount to stick on my truck windsheild. I will be curious to see responses for folks that do have the apple or android tablet Nav apps.

The iPad has to be an LTE version to have a GPS. That's one of the many reasons I prefer my Nexus 7 - GPS, nicer screen, great form factor, and half the price! I've got the navionics app on it and it works great!
