Fenwick Silverhawk rods

Just wondering if anyone has one of these rods and if so, do you like it? Noticed the big C has them on sale and wondered how they compared to the elite techs as far as sensitivity and/or strength? Thanks!

Not as good as an elite tech, I have silver hawks, smallmouth elite techs, hmx's, and a few older models. Quality and sensitivity of hmx IMO. Hard to get info online as to the blank comparison, as they don't list it on either HSOforum. For 60 bucks I don't think you can go wrong, for retail at 100 I think there's better options, if that makes sense....

I have an Ironhawk and like it pretty well. Silver is higher than iron so this should be good.

Did you see it in person or just in a flyer? I like to handle fishing rods before buying.

Saw it in their flyer. Agreed that it is better to physically assess a fishing rod than to rely on what's in writing. Kind of like buying footwear. Thanks for the input. May have to wait for the NW sports show in MPLS.

Should have bought a Fenwick Elite Tech there last year, but didn't.
