Frying fish on the ice?

Looking for ideas for a small stove for frying fish in a portable fish house?

I'd say your best bet is to use a Coleman cook top stove. Hook up a 1# tank to it and you'll have good eats! They work pretty nice and are a good investment.

I've seen the Coleman FryWell portable deep fryer in action, they work pretty slick. Temperature control with a small amount of oil in a pan on a stove can be difficult IMO.

I typically use an electric skillet and generator.

I've used a small charcoal grill. Now I just put a pan right on my fish house's wood stove.

What ever you end up doing, please be safe. Open flames, LP connections, etc... are very dangerous anywhere, but more so in a confined area. This is a photo of an ice house that, as I heard, started a fire after disconnecting a 1 lb can where the valve stuck open.

look up Iwatoni butane stove. I can't believe anything is very safe in a portable though.
