Harvin aka Mr. glass

That KO return was more blown assignments than anything else. There were about 3-4 open lanes to take it the distance. Great athlete, great speed. That return happened more for poor coverage than athletic ability. The cover team saw the bounce and gave up assignment. His explosiveness was seen clearly because nobody was around him. Just like those sweeps, Robert Ayers got sucked in (multiple times) and there was no containment. LBs were late not because of speed (until after 8+yrds were already gained) they were late because Seattle was well prepared and Denver was asleep at the wheel.

Great athlete but the plays happened for a reason and those reasons were more blown assignments than athletic play. I didnt see Harvin leave any defenders jocks on the field. I saw him leave a few in the dust because he wasnt contested.

Athletes like him make it look easy thats why you didnt see him blowing off any ones jocks. He is a great athlete and the Vikings need someone like that on the field. Too bad he wasnt on it most of the time because of his glass body. I wonder what he is doing for his migranes? Is Pot legal in Seatle? wink

You guys are all hilarious. Look at the facts. In the 4 years Percy Harvin played for the Vikings he played in 54 games. In the same period of time Adrian Pederson played in 58 games. Does 1 more game per year make AP an iron man or is he Mr. Glass too?

I have to mostly agree with Northlander here but BD2 & minky make a good point too.I think his biggest problem with the Vikings was in the locker room & mainly with the coaches(LF).I wouldn't be surprised to see a picture of him standing in line for some of the newly legalized meds for his migraines either.;)Wouldn't be surprised to see him trouble with the law out there during the offseason either.

Percy's ONLY problem was having Ponder as his QB...it gave him the migraines and made him be a beotch to the coaching staff.

Turns out Percy was right about Ponder.....

Can't really blame Percy for not wanting to stick around this disfunctional organization, especially with the coaches and QB's he had around him. His dream came true, he barely had to play, got a fat check, and is a Superbowl Champion.

I liked him while he was here, but I'd take Patterson over him. Patterson has a bright future and if he builds off this year he's gonna be a wrecking ball. Hopefully we get a franchise QB around here for once instead of this merry go round of wannabes.

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
