Kyle
Anyone ever used the old upright cast iron sausage stuffer? I'm thinking about getting one, but have never used one of the old ones. They should be super durable, but I wonder how well they work and how easy they are to take care of.

Kyle
Not sure I want the maintenance that goes with cast iron. Anyone have any qualms with the guide series 15# stuffer?
B-man715
Are you talking about the kind of stuffer that has a handle that you push down on to stuff?
Kyle
Nope, the vintage style crank ones.
BLACKJACK
The old cast iron ones work great!!! My folks used one for years. Maintenace isn't anything more than wash it up with hot soapy water.

thirdeye
I have 3 friends with Enterprise brand cast iron stuffers. One has a lard plate and one has some sort of strainer for fruit. You can purchase replacement tubes and the big nut, and handle parts.
