Christmas Wrapping Tips

leechlake

Question

Since I'd assume most of us really stink at wrapping gifts I have an excellent Expert Info Tip. Use Aluminum Foil. Especially for the smaller gifts it works like a charm, you need no tape really and it's sparkly. What else could your wife ask for? Also, I'm pretty sure its about the same price as Christmas wrap.

Save the stress and back pain and frustration from attempted traditional wrap. Put on the foil!!!

I still mangle wrapping, but think that is part of Christmas! It's suppose to be the giving not how pretty it looks. grin We try to use boxes as much as we can. The wrapping looks nice, BUT all the duck tape underneath???? It's a tradition!! smirk

I always use christmas wrapping paper. I do a pretty good job. After all its just measuring, cutting a straight line, folding paper and using some tape. I've never seen a package wrapped in aluminum foil. It might be cool, but to me foil is more appropriate for a baloney sandwich than a christmas gift.

For a long time now we just buy a big roll of rosin paper and let the grandkids draw on the presents. Then we just print pictures on mailing labels and stick them to the packages. Usually the youngest kids hand out the presents by looking at the pictures on the labels and bring them to the matching face. Spend the money on a few more stocking stuffers then on paper and bows.
