mrpike1973
hi so first trip out with it today. when i flip it over the front bottom pole seems very high the skirt however does go down. when i put it together it said to have a inch or two above the floor thats what i did and i remember when i cinched down the corners to screw it in. it just had enough to go in the channel i think its ok. also the poles when i pop them up half of them fall out of the bottom metal pole. fought and fought with them. i was slow when i pulled them out i'm i missing something. sure is warm but it isnt fast to put up take down. thanks for any help
brook100
Haven't had any sort of trouble at all with my new nanook thermal...might want to re-check your assembly
ssom08
Umm I tried to think what could be wrong but couldn't come up with a reason. I love my Nanook set up and take down takes less then a minute or so.
mrpike1973
when you flip your house over does the bottom pole touch the ice? i took mine apart again and the pole still doesn't touch the ground. i think my poles are correct and there is very little of the tent to screw to the bottom of the sled base. maybe its ok don't know but i dont want to drill any more holes through the tent. thanks
leech~~
You tighened the back up to much. You need to let more material out on the back side. Kind of like Joan Rivers, you pulled to much skin to the back!
rundrave
I had the same issues with mine. When the clams are new the fabric is tight. I left mine assembled and let it sit out for a while with some weight on the front skirt, and it was no longer an issue. When I first got it there is no way with the the front 2 poles extended fully for the front portion of the tarp to sit on the ground, it wasn't even close. After some use it went away and is no longer an issue.
