lawman
My iTunes library disappeared recently and am pretty disgusted with the process of trying, unsuccessfully so far, to restore it. I see you can buy music from sites like Amazon. If I buy a different mp3 (no more ipods) player how can I buy, store and put music on it? Can I put my cd's on my pc and put songs on just any old mp3 player?

You just burn the CD to your computer, then drag and drop onto the MP3 player.Did it with smart phones for a couple of years before the removable SD cards. Now just swap SD cards, as long as I remember to save the music to the SD card. pinkfloyd4ever
yes, just like LwnmwnMan2 said. Download the song, link up your MP3 player and drag the file to it, very simple
delcecchi
What happened to your itunes library? Is it backed up? Is the data still on your computer? Is your computer backed up? I lost my library once due to anti-virus program. Got it back pretty easily, and I had all the music still on the computer anyway.
