Anyone have any experience with the folding ice saws they sell at mills fleet? They are quite a bit cheaper but this is my first year getting all my own stuff starting from scratch and budgets gettin real tight! Will these saws take me through a couple years? Thanks!

Fish's saws are the best but you're right I think they ate around $120 or so. Remember though he will sharpen them for the life of the saw.

I know a few ppl who bought nills and the cheaper ones they now own fishes saw i would spend the money you wont be disappointed

I've heard the blade bends easily on the Nils. If that's all you can afford it would probably get the job done though.

I also know people who have had real bad luck with their nils blades bending... These saws are half the price.. Hm...?

Sounds like a nils saw and I have not used one, but heard they do not perform as well as a FishToys saw get a FishToys saw and you will never worry about cutting a hole threw the ice as long as you own it.

Kind of like your spear don't cut corners (no pun) intended but I've got a fish toy saw and think its the best investment I've made...
