Ufatz
Looks like I will have to sell my boat in spring, a 1750 Crestliner with a 115 Yamaha. We hardly used it for past ten years and I think this year maybe five hours running time. Is there an hour meter in this engine that will provide me actual hours since new in 2004?I am used to engines with hour meters and just wondered if big outboards had them on the engine. It has been a dandy boat and there is nothing wrong with it, but the operator is falling apart! Walleyehooker
No visual hour meter but a dealer can get the hours by plugging into the computer.

Ufatz
Well, well well! That will be interesting. Boat used by a couple old guys. Has never been as high as 5000rpms......mostly 4000 or so. We in no big hurry! But it will be interesting to see those numbers. Thanks. It is one helluva motor! Superduty
If you have Lowrance electronics, another option is to add the Yamaha engine interface. It will display engine detail (including hours) on the Lowrance display.
