flip over ice shelter capacity?

Looking at a Clam and an Otter flip over shelter for this year, but am having difficulty finding the weight rating on the seating.

In full winter gear I am probably about #250 and so is the person who fishes with me (maybe closer to #275.)

So I am wondering if most of the two seaters can safely handle 500 to 550 pounds or am I better off sticking to a hub house?

Two of the models I am looking at are:

Otter Pro XT1200 Cabin or Lodge

or

Clam Jason Mitchell Thermal X

Thanks

I know the Otter seats will hold. I have Otter Wild Series and a buddy of mine has the older Otter Lodge mine, has a bench his has the individual seats. He weighs right around 325 and I'm about 230 and we have no weight problems with the seats.

I have an older (6-7 year old purple) Otter Cabin with bench seat. It holds fat guys just fine! Size works for two guys, and even a little kid or adult and two kids, but tight. Two people only it is fine. Only thing is you can't quite stand all the way up except very middle and you r are not tall wink

I also have and older Voyager, and it is slightly taller and bigger than the Cabin, and the extra elbow room is nice. Doing it again, and knowing that I now use atv or sled to pull it, I would have gotten the Otter Lodge for the slightly larger size. The Clam tub and material (on my vintage anyway) and seats are much flimsier but still hold fat guys just fine. I have had to patch the tub on the Voyager and also fix a brace on the seat on that one. But it is an older model and new ones are tougher.

Good luck, I like both of mine, but the new ones with thermal sure are nice, but holy cow are they spendy!
