any brands out there that last a while? double temp for smoker and meat. tried 2 now and they don't last long.

will it last longer than the ET 32? the one i have works but the remote distance is worthless now. gotta be almost touching and then still doesnt work most of the time. new batteries no help.

I'll second the Maverick, granted I haven't used mine a ton but it's still kicking for now. Only had it about 7 months since I got it with my smoker.

32 or 732? my 32 worked at 20 feet with no problems when new. now it struggles to do 1 foot. bought it in may.

I have my smoker out around my front step. Then I'll go inside and upstairs and watch TV or whatnot and it still sends the signal. I've been nearly 100 feet away from it outside and it still kept the signal.

thx, looks like i will go with the 732. I found a way online to add an antennae to the 32 but I don't like messing with that stuff. lol
