roosterslayer
Anybody ever hunt with these guys in LQP??? just curious, I have a hunt with them on Sunday and curious how anybody else's hunt went with them. Thanks
onthefly
Rented a field from them and wasn't happy with the spot. The "x" was on the other side of the road and we couldn't compete with live birds. The ones that came across barely changed their wing beats. But, I wouldn't let one marginal experience impact their reputation. They are wild birds after all!I'm sure they'll do well for you. Let us know what your experience is like.
skee0025
You can always check out their FB page. They post alot of videos of their hunts. From what I've seen and hear, I would have no problems booking a hunt. All i'm lacking right now are the funds to do it.
ncesi
We have hunted with them many times. They are great people and try hard to put you on birds. The guides are great and treat everyone extremely well. They are a group of guys that love what they do and it shows. As others have stated we are hunting wild birds and they sometime do not do as expected, so sometime things that happen are out of their control. We have hunted with them, gone out scouting with them and always enjoyed everything they have to share with us. You will not be disappointed. Last conversation I had with one of the head guides is that they had 8000 new birds arrive at he refuge this past week so there are fresh birds to hunt, and more coming down every day. Have fun! FowlSki
Bring some ear plugs! If things don't go well with maxxed out check out the mallard club next time. I don't do guided hunts but I've heard good things from others.
roosterslayer
I would never bad talk a guide service, cause it is called hunting and not just shooting. I just curious if any here has hunted with them and could tell me how it went
bucketmouth64
Used them on couple goose hunts at lqp and had a fantastic time. One good hunt and one not so good. Just like fishing, you can't predict what's going to happen. Great people all around, and they all work hard to try and make your hunt enjoyable and successful. Wouldn't think twice about using them. My son has used them too. Make sure you bring enough shells.
roosterslayer
Okay guys back from LQP. Maxxed out guides are awesome!!! Hade a blast and will definitely be back later this year and probably a couple trips next year. My dad hasn't waterfowl hunted in 37 years and watching him turn into a big kid in the field made my entire hunt. we shot some birds and saw a ton. cant wait until some new birds start heading down. Knute and Kick were our guides, they were great at calling and the atmosphere was more like hunting with friends that anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested.
