jasonmichalski
I like wood and rarely use live minnows anymore, 20 buck would be on the cheap side. I sale my basic workers for 15 but they quickly go up from there.
Gordie
The best decoy is the one you are using when you stick a Pike.

bowhunt
I use a wood decoy, and a sucker minnow basically all the time. I have never owned a plastic decoy, and don't plan too. The majority of my big fish have come in to the sucker minnow, but there have been days were everything ignored the sucker and went for the wood decoy. It is hard to say what is better, because every decoy has it's day. As far as price goes for the wooded decoys, you get what you pay for. Once in a while you can find a cheap decoy, but usually there is a reason why it was cheap.Bowhunt
Dorkfish
Mine are cheap and work great. I make mine cheap because I don't care for the 50-100 dollar decoys some of which don't work mind you.

Dorkfish
Ya see everyone has their own favorites and that one special decoy that's their go to. So that's why a lot of us have a ton of decoys. Some end up in the shack everyday others hang over the mantel.
