Pressure tank in condensation

Recommended Posts

Sill seal is pretty thin stuff.

For the pipes, I'd use regular foam pipe insulation sections.

As for your tank... are you trying to quiet it down, or just deal with the condensation? I dont think a plywood box is going to help your condensation.

You can use something as cheap as an old blanket, or be as elaborate as that bubble wrap foil insulation and cut and foil tape it to fit snug around the tank. Personally if it were me I'd get a blanket

Pipes (and tanks) sweating is caused by fresh air circulating around it. Water lines piped in your walls that are sealed don't sweat. A box placed over it, while ugly, would probably take care of it.
