erikwells
Fired my arrow into about a foot of water missed the fish but bullseyed a rock. The tip of the arrow pretty much exploded only leaving the metal insert bent like mad. Can you heat the insert with a torch and glue a new one on or should I simply throw away and buy a new arrow? If you can repair where do you get arrow parts? Thanks,Erik
Ryan_V
when it comes to the tip, I would just buy a new one. I just shoot the cheaper ones, maybe $15 at scheels. by the time you buy everything you need, you will have more into it than just buying a new arrow. i have replaced nocks and keep a couple of the screw on points handy, anything more I buy a different arrow. Neighbor_guy
this is a prime example of why I always bring at least one spare arrow when I am going harpooning
Archerysniper
It all depends on the tip you shoot. I have been shooting the same muzzy tipped arrow for 3 years now. If the tip starts getting rounded normally I can fix it quick with a file otherwise I screw a new chisel tip on. If the arrow is long enough I would cut it off and epoxy a new tip onto the shaft.
