Battle Creek the ice is basically out (small sheet on the northeast end). Tanners is locked up still but looks like it will be gone in a few days.

Almost there on Winnie. I checked yesterday, and there was only 27" of ice left!

Medicine looks like it is out and Bryant is out. Even saw a pontoon out there this morning.

upper priorlake was open today at 3:30, aside from some slush/ice piled up on eastern edges

Glad to hear their is open water in the southern part of the state. I live northwest of Brainerd and was ice fishing the last two days. There is plenty of ice on our lakes up here. Some are starting to pull away from shore, but on most you can walk right out on the south and west sides. With this cool down I'm sorry to say that there is no way I can see open water for the opener on the larger area lakes. Maybe some smaller ones but even that might be doubtful.
