1996 Lund Decals

Just obtained a 1996 Lund Pro V Explorer Delux 1600. It is in really good condition. The only thing on the boat that could use a little work is the old decals on both sides are all chipped up. Is there a place to order these, I've looked on the Lund sight and can't find them and a couple of other sites as well. OR....can your local sticker guy just design them, and has anyone else done this????? What should I do????

Call a graphics shop and have them fab up something to your liking. You could even get a sweet custom design?

Contact Lund directly as previously stated. I received both new decals for a 1980 Pike 15 for no charge at all in 2010. I also received new graphics just a few months ago for a pretty rough angler 1650 I repaired for no charge from them also. It seems to vary with who you deal with as one person wanted to charge me for the graphics, but the next time another person didn't when I decided to order them...

Damit! I just called the Lund plant in Minnesota and they said they don't have decals going back that far?? What the???

They usually only go back ten years. Not to mention, they are ridiculously expensive. I'll get you that picture today.

I just got off the phone with customer service at LUND and they do not sell decals. They gave me a name of a LUND dealer in Mn who sells them.

Not cheap.

That is the exact opposite of the luck I've had.

The set for the 1980 I got directly from them through the rep at the time in a tube, direct from Lund- It actually said Lund American on the package. Probably helped being the parts supervisor at a dealer at the time. The rep told me they had excess old logos and emblems in non-inventory.

The 1650 I called their customer service and a lady there transferred me to another person and I was told the didn't sell them. I called back and got a guy that wanted to charge me. I called back again and dealt with a different lady who transferred me to the customer service rep for the area and I got the graphics. Basically explained to him that I was fixing up a boat, and really no more questions he asked me for an address.

I know from past dealings and when I use to work at a Lund Dealer it all depended upon who you dealt with and how long they've been there and pretty much what kind of day they were having in their customer service department.

If you push hard enough and get the right people they do have them. I have family that works in the plant itself and I can tell you they still have old graphics. All depends on who you deal with.

Guess I am going to call them again. I talked to the Pro staff director as that is who I talked to at LUND.. Pro staff director sent me to the Customer service dept and they told me they have no decals for my 2007 and that if I needed any, I would have to go through a dealer. The dealer they sent me to was Al's in Rochester, Mn.

For the heck of it, I am going to call them again and see what the next person tells me.

They may have some older decals on hand but they do not make them any longer, they have to be gotten at a LUND dealer. Thats what 2 different reps at LUND told me.

I will see what the 3rd one tells me this am.

Just got off the phone and I talked with 2 different reps at LUND. The first said they do not offer any decals at LUND for the consumer. The next rep said I would have to go through a LUND dealer.

It may be that LUND has changed thier policies on how they handle boat decals.

I have now talked to 4 different people at LUND and got the same answer from all 4.

I will be paying for them as I cannot seem to be able to get to that person that gives them away at LUND. Guess I would have to ask everyone in the plant to find the one person that tells cutomers something totally different that what all the others have told me.

I am not saying you did not recieve free decals, I cannot even purchase any from LUND. I HAVE to buy them from a dealer. Maybe it helps if you have family working there.

I have called them 3 times in the last week and Im getting the same answer as well. Im either going to go with someone private like a sticker shop or through a dealer and get some 2006 decals. Again Im reaching out to anyone private to shoot me a PM. I have recieved a Pm already but somehow lost touch with that individual.

My boat is a 1996 Lund Pro Guide Angler DLX 1600.

Good morning Tom,

Contact your local Lund dealer and provide them with your model and hull id number located on the back right hand corner of the boat, and they can provide you with price and availabilty. You can either replace them with the original decals or with a newer style if you prefer.
