Turkey Choke. Jelly Head experiences?

Gus

Recommended Posts

I picked up a new shotgun last fall so I need a new choke for turkeys.

Cabelas has lots of good reviews on the Jelly Head. Anybody here try one out? Any other suggestions?

I'll be shooting 3.5" shells out of a Benelli Super Vinci.

I will of course pattern a few loads, but I'd rather not guess too hard on buying the choke the first time around.

Thanks!

I have the Jellyhead in my Stoeger 2000 for turkeys. It shoots the Hevi 13 heavy shot loads well. If you plan on using lead it's still pretty good but it seems the comp n choke turkey chokes then to shine there in most of the guns we've tried them in. Reality is that it's a quality choke that performs well in a lot of guns. Hard to tell how it will perform in yours until you try it.
