The " season" is never realy over for me. Sure the walleyes are done for a while, there are other species to catch. The resourceful angler can find somewhere to fish just about every day of the year. I will be out on the hard water till I can't be, then transision to soft water within a few days of my last ice outing.

  As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that. If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
