First pike from spear house with bow

Shot a couple of small pike yesterday from my darkhouse with my bow. I can see that i will be doing alot more soon!

How fun! I would actually get my hunting license if this was an actual sport where I'm from. Legally discharging fire arms to catch fish? Who would of thought? I understand the whole bow carp thing, but this is way cooler! Nice shot on the second one.

No in Mn you can not use archery equipment to take pike.

Yes; you can discharge a bow in a darkhouse in Minnesota while fishing rough fish.

I suppose you could be somewhat effective at this on a river but I am not sure you could be effective in a lake.

We could till last season in Michigan, I never did, spear is better under the ice, I loss more carp in the spring from poor shots, then I do with a spear on pike.
