P-line question

For guys that use p-line, do you spool the whole reel or use some filler?

I don't use filler or spool the whole reel. Whenever I spool the whole reel it just seems to cause more issues. Spool enough to get you down to the deepest depth and allow more for fighting a fish and letting out drag. But that's what I do, others will of course do it differently.

Dang. I was getting ready for tomorrow and put filler on. Maybe I should take it off the spool and just put the p-line back on.

Filler is fine. Each year I just pull off a bunch of old line and use a uni to uni knot to add new line. No need for me to waste 50 yards of line when I only need 50-70 ft of new line.

I use filler and then fill the spool full. You get better drag performance and line pick up with a fuller spool.
